Troop 451 has been operating for more than 54 years in Mesa and now has more than 140 Eagle Scouts!
-- Robert Powell
Troop 451 has a long and rich history in Mesa. We now have boys in the Troop whose fathers were Scouts in Troop 451. There are certain traditions that have been established and evolved over time that define our unique identity. Troop 451 seeks to build leadership skills in boys 11 to 18. The strength of any BSA Troop lies in the active participation of the Scouts and their parents. Boy Scouts gives boys an opportunity to build leadership skills, learn outdoor survival skills, and participate in activities that they may not normally be exposed to in their regular daily lives. This document will give you an overview of the Troop’s activities, but please don’t be shy about asking for more information.

Happiness doesn't come from being rich, nor merely from being successful in your career, nor by self-indulgence. One step towards happiness is to make yourself healthy and strong while you are a boy so that you can be useful and so you can enjoy life when you are a man.
